It started with the thought that I would throw together a simple omelette.
I wanted steak in it and I had cooked a T-bone to perfection the morning before… so a carne omeletteit was going to be.
Then beans sounded so nice, and a little onions and bell peppers with that would make sense… then why not make a fresh salsa of onion, bell pepper, chili pepper, tomato, steak, and lime. Well, potatoes are missing so I added a hashbrown, a little cheese, and then once the eggs were down on the griddle it only made sense to lay it all out and roll it up.
That’s when the photos started…
The roll up process went well;
Presentation was fun and my family appreciated it;
The rolled-up omelette looked good sliced and plated too:
And it was all very delicious.
But all good things must come to an end…
Okay, one more bite.
