28-4-2016 – Five nights at Richardson Grove State Park, California

We always plan our arrival – trying to hit hotels mid-week and avoid Friday arrivals – but this time we were coming in late on a Friday. I was honestly very worried we wouldn’t find a campsite… ends up there was one other person there, and during our stay only a few came and went.

My family camped here each summer for a few years. The river is great to play in, the trees massive and the campground safe and large.

The road is a bit loud though! 🙂 We had a blast but it is more fun when there are kids all around.
