6-5-2016 – Two nights at Patrick’s Point
Just go. So lush, so vast, so diverse. Big trees, big sea lions or seals, great tidepools, agate beach, trails, mushrooms, historic recreations, visitor’s center! This place had it all and we really enjoyed it.
We literally picked this on a whim, and mainly because of the name. It was on our route but not very far from Eureka. Normally we’d drive further each day. This place is amazing.
This was the first and most striking example of why not to RV everywhere. RVing is fun. RVing can be easier. RVs were not allowed at Patrick’s Point and it remains one of our favorite places ever. So glad we were tenting it!
